The fishing is not good and the only place to fish is from a boat and you can not fish off the dock or you get yelled for doing it so if you go camping the owen drives their golf cart around every hour by the hour and seeing if you are staying in your camp site and the WiFi doesn't work out there so if you need to use it you have to go to the office to use it and it is not family friendly like it use to be
Sad ending. After 28 years of camping here every holiday weekend and the last 20 years on the same site upon our arrival last weekend we were told by the new owners we had been moved. We were told two different reasons so don't know which one was true. At NO point did they every say they were sorry. They said from now own unless you're in a group you aren't guaranteed a certain site and won't know where your site is until arrive. Their attitude was they just didn't care.
New owners this year and they are doing a great job! This is our favorite campground. The beach is really nice and shaddd lots.
First off lets start off by saying i pulled in place didnt look right second i got hollered at to put a shirt on third i had a small spot for a 30 ft camper there spots are not spacious like said to be and fourth i was setting up my 8000 pound camper and i using a battery operated impact gun and got hollered at from halfway across the campground that I couldn't use power tools mind you it was 5 in the afternoon i wasnt there for 20 minute and left. I wouldn't even give this place a star but I had no choice
Needless to say we will never return. Sad after not only raising my children and for the last 14 years also our grandchildren camping there. Would like to thank the original owners Don and Alice and recent owners Brian and Vicky for the wonderful years of camping.
Friendly staff, clean and well-maintained facilities. Well spaced campsites. Great lake access. Looking forward to my next visit.
